Case Study: Growing a Charlotte-Based Luxury Interior Design Brand on Social Media
In branding, every touchpoint matters, because together, they shape the customer experience. A potential client might visit your website, explore your services, and then head to your social media to see completed projects before ever reaching out. That sequence is what creates a buyer’s journey.
In the luxury market especially, it’s essential that each of those touchpoints reflects your value, credibility, and level of expertise. So when an interior designer came to us for social media management, we knew our strategy had to mirror the scale of her work and align with her ideal clientele — elevated, intentional, and built to convert.
Here's how we generated brand awareness through our strategized social media approach.
The Background
This client is a luxury interior designer and general contractor. Based in Charlotte, NC, Tailored Designs is a high-end kitchen and bath design firm specializing in full-scale renovations that blend luxury, functionality, and timeless style.
When Tailored Designs came to us in March of 2025, their social presence was inconsistent and lacked the luxury-feel needed to reflect the caliber of their work. They were looking for a more cohesive, elevated social media strategy with consistent posting and refined Instagram Stories that aligned with their luxury brand and positioned them as an authority in the Charlotte market.
The Strategy
Our social media strategy focused on strengthening Tailored Designs’ digital presence while supporting both brand growth and lead generation. The primary goals were to:
Increase brand awareness in the Charlotte area
Showcase expertise and establish authority in luxury design
Enhance community engagement
Generate qualified leads through Instagram
To support these goals, we developed a clear set of content pillars that balanced education, inspiration, and brand personality:
Tailored Transformations – Showcasing completed designs and renovations
The Design Digest – Designer tips, insights, and educational content
Living, Tailored – Personal moments and storytelling
Behind the Build – Behind-the-scenes looks at active projects
Based on our research and extensive knowledge on social media platforms, we paired this client with Pinterest and Instagram as top platforms to focus on.
We created consistent content that fit under each of these content pillars and serving each of our goals on Instagram and Pinterest. Not only did this need to be visually-focused content that matched their industry, but we focused in on SEO-driven copy that her ideal audience could get hooked into. We ensure that captions include keywords, making it easily searchable on socials and search engines, driving traffic.
In Q4, we refined the strategy further to maximize results and broaden reach. We introduced a blog strategy to drive website traffic and layered in email marketing with a monthly newsletter to nurture the community, extend content reach, and deepen brand connection beyond socials.
The Results
In 2025, the social media strategy delivered strong visibility, engagement, and steady audience growth.
On Instagram, the account reached 330,999 views, driving meaningful interaction with 1,127 comments and 247 shares, clear indicators that the content resonated with the audience. Beyond engagement, the strategy supported consistent community growth, resulting in 424 new followers and bringing the account to 2,089 total followers by the end of the year.
On Pinterest, the strategy further expanded brand visibility and website discovery. The account reached 57.33K views, generated 2.08K engagements, and drove 36 outbound clicks, supporting long-term content discovery and reinforcing Tailored Designs’ presence as a luxury design agency.
We couldn't be happier with the Q4 email and blogs results, too. We'll go more in depth in another case study on these.
In conclusion, this marketing strategy drove major traffic, drove brand awareness, created consistency, and lead to high-ticket leads. If you're ready to start tapping into your audience through social media, blogs, and/or email, you know exactly the team to hire.
