How to Create Social Media Management Proposals
POV: you have a lead that's ready to sign on to your social media management agency but...you're missing a key step: a proposal to send them.
Welcome to the cheat sheet for social media management proposals where we are going over everything you need to know to create yours, including when to send it, what platforms to use to send it, and what to include (and you might want to stick around to the end for a template)
When do you send a social media management proposal?
Having a streamlined process for yourself in the discovery and onboarding periods of your client relationship is crucial for saving yourself time, not missing any steps, and delivering a high-quality client experience. Where does the proposal fit into the process? Typically right after the discovery call is a good fit, so you know more of the specifics about what they are looking for in terms of project scope. For our process, we start with the discovery call form where they can book a discovery call, and take the discovery call to learn about their project and brand, then within 24 hours, we send over the proposal, contract, and first invoice.
What platforms to use to send a social media management proposal?
We love to use Dubsado for all things CRM. This includes our onboarding template, discovery call form, proposals, contracts, invoices, feedback surveys, and more. We keep our process right in Dubsado so we can be ready make quick updates that are tailored to the client, and send over the proposal as soon as we can after the call.

What to Include in a Social Media Management Proposal
Let's get to the most important part, what are we actually supposed to include in a social media management proposal? Here are nine sections we recommend having inside your proposal:

About the Proposal Page - share a brief introduction about the project.
Timeline Page - This is where you break down your onboarding process.
Client Praise Pages - Show off those reviews!
Platforms Page - Break down what platforms this proposal includes.
Package Pages - List out your package options.
Case Study Pages - Share case studies that could seal the deal.
FAQ Page - What do clients commonly ask you? Answer them here to elevate any upcoming questions or hesitation.
Next Steps Page - What happens now? Explain the steps so there's no confusion.
Now, you have all the information you need to successful craft a social media management proposal for your social media management business. Get out there and pull in your dream clients to send it to next!
